OLCR & iCalendar

Note - This feature is only available on Server2 ie the "Or Here" link

This new feature of OLCR allows you to link your calendar application though to your class timetable.
We do not offer support on the use of this feature as there are many different calendar applications.
We can not guaranty that your calendar application will correctly import the OLCR timetable. As such you should check with the normal OLCR timetable web pages to check that it is correct. Where differences exist the OLCR timetable web page is the correct information.

Warning if you Import OLCR calendar data into your calendar program it will not automatically update when your timetable changes on OLCR. You will need to update your calendar program manually.

If you Subscribe to the OLCR calendar your application will update itself with your latest OLCR timetable every now and then depending on your calendar applications settings.

What follow is a list of applications and comments related to OLCR.

Mozilla Sunbird

File->Subscribe to Remote Calendar
On the Network
Format iCalendar(ICS)
Location: Paste in link from OLCR
Name: UWA Classes (Whatever you want)
Color: (Whatever you want)
Then Right Click On the Calendar in the Calendar link
Properties
Tick Read Only

Its Recomended that you create a seperate Calendar for OLCR.
Click on the https link on OLCR and save to the desktop.
File->Import
Select the Saved file.
Choose a Calendar.

Click Calendar in the left Sidebar (to see your calendar)
Tools->Account Settings
Internet Calendars Tab
"New.." Button
Paste in link from OLCR
Folder Name: UWA Classes (Whatever you want)
OK Button.
Click Other Calendars in the left sidebar and tick the UWA Classes Calendar 

Click on the https link on OLCR and save to the desktop.
File->Import and Export
Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file
Select the saved file.

All events imported from OLCR have the Category "OLCR"
Should you need to remove the OLCR events. Use Outlooks "View by Category" to select and delete them.

Google Calendar

There are addons that do this.
The RemoteCalendar Addon is one, however it does not support https calendar addresses and hence does not work.
